The A380 in my garden

Airbus A380... or better said above my garden :-)

Today was the first flight of the new giant plane from Airbus. Living near Toulouse where this event occured, I had the pleasure to see this huge beast turning above my garden on its way back to the airport.

Of course I do not always enjoy planes flying above my head, but this is a very special occasion. And to my big surprise, despite its 4 engines and its size, the A380 is far less noisy than usual smaller planes.

Good job Airbus!

Very cool.

I remember when I was 10 years old, I was at school, a bunch of us were outside, I think we were playing cricket.

Concorde flew overhead.

One of the teachers said it was her maiden British flight (the maiden French flight had been the month before).

The game stopped !!

Looks great! Somehow I am quite impressed with this plane. Now if only that could mean a little more room for each passenger...
