Aflax: Wow!
Sometimes something appears that opens an amazing range of
possibilities. So much that you don't even know where to start nor
where it will lead you to.
Today's finding is AFLAX, which uses new features in the recent Flash 8 that allows to script the flash player from the HTML page!
With small and universal Flash file (the runtime), you can create Flash animations from scratch and drive them from JavaScript in the HTML page. Combine this with Ajax requests, and... wow!
Last but not least, it's licenced under the MPL, which makes it compatible with Apache software. Hmm... maybe that will land soon in Cocoon!
