XMLfr.org est le portail de la communauté XML francophone. Jeudi dernier, j'ai répondu à un article à propos du format des fichers de OpenOffice (des fichiers XML dans une archive zip), expliquant comment nous avions réalisé le systéme de gestion de contenu du nouveau site de l' INSA Toulouse.

Après quelques échanges avec le rédacteur de cet article, il m'a été proposé de devenir rédacteur sur XMLfr.org, notamment pour y parler de Cocoon et Apache. Nouvelle nommination dans une nouvelle communauté, regroupant certains des spécialistes XML français les plus renommés.

Il me faudra certainement un peu de temps pour m'intégrer à ce groupe moins homogène que mon bon vieux Cocoon-dev, mais ça promet d'être bigrement intéressant. Seul problème, il n'est pas toujours facile de trouver les équivalents français aux vocabulaire technique anglais que j'utilise quotidiennement !

XMLfr.org is the internet portal of the french-speaking XML community. Last thursday, I answered an article about OpenOffice's file format (XML files in a zip archive), explaining how we combined Cocoon and OpenOffice to build a user-friendly CMS for a french university.

After a few mails with the editor of this article, I was proposed to become an editor at XMLfr.org, mainly for the Cocoon and Apache matters. A new committership in a new community, gathering some of the most renowned french XML specialists.

I certainly will need a bit of time to be up to speed in this group which is more diverse than my good'ol Cocoon-dev, but I have high hopes this will be very interesting. The only problem will be to find the french translation for some of the english technical words I use daily!
