Excalibur is now a top-level Apache project. After months of discussions and uncertainty, all the good code it holds finally finds a stable home, managed by people that care about its future.

Is Leo Simons, the Excalibur PMC chairman, the young Arthur that became king by taking the Excalibur sword out of the stone?

This may be one of the good consequences of Merlin helping Arthur to mature, even if the Merlin in our story isn't as good as the one in the legend.
